Art teachers open ‘Behind the Inspiration’ exhibit
Thirteen local artists are presenting “Behind the Inspiration,” a biennial exhibit at the Princeton Public Library featuring original works of art by art teachers of Bureau County. An opening reception took place Friday evening, with the artists on hand to answer questions about their pieces. The exhibition will continue through Nov. 22 during regular library hours. It includes ceramics, acrylic paintings, silk screen printing, photography, watercolor and jewelry. Each artist has been or continues to be a teacher of art in Bureau County.

Susan Berry (from left) of Bureau Valley shows her art to Mary Thompson and Lisa Wealer.
