LAMOILLE — North Carolina has its Dean Dome in honor of its late, legendary coach Dean Smith.
LaMoille High School will soon have its own “Dean Dome.”
On Friday, Dec. 6, LaMoille High School will be hosting the “Dean R. Madsen Night” at the boys’ basketball game. LHS will be honoring its former longtime administrator that evening by renaming the gymnasium as the “Dean R. Madsen Gymnasium.”
Madsen served in the LaMoille School District as superintendent for many years. He has seen generations of families graduate from LaMoille High School and has been a vital part of the success of students throughout the years.
The ceremony will take place between the fresh/soph and varsity contests with a reception following the ceremony in the high school library.
