Sectional host Princeton draws No. 7 seed

Boys postseason seeds were released by the IHSA Thursday. Regional pairings will follow Friday afternoon.

Princeton will be hosting a 2A sectional, looking for a No. 7 seed out of the sub-sectional B to carry it home. The top seeds went to Kewanee and Winnebago, followed by El Paso-Gridley, Fieldcrest and Hall. Bureau Valley came in 12th with Mendota the 13th and last seed.

Regionals will be held at Chillicothe IVC and Winnebago.

LaMoille-Ohio was awarded the No. 5 seed in the Hanover 1A sub-sectional B behind undefeated Indian Creek, Dakota, Pecatonica, and Rockford Christian Life. RCL and Polo are the regional hosts.

St. Bede drew the No. 7 seed in the Ottawa Marquette sub-sectional A. Yorkville Christian is the top seed. Regional hosts are No. 2 Somonauk and No. 11 Putnam County.
