No new COVID-19 cases reported today in Bureau, Putnam, Marshall counties

PRINCETON — No new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Bureau, Putnam, Marshall counties in the past 24 hours.

Bureau, Putnam, Marshall County Health Departments have reported 21 confirmed COVID-19 cases in their region. The first case was reported in Marshall County on March 23. The last case was reported in Putnam County on May 15.

Of the confirmed cases, 15 were from Bureau County; five were from Marshall County and one case from Putnam County. There has been one COVID-19-related death from Bureau County recorded on May 5. The death was a man in his 90s.

State-wide, the Illinois Department of Public Health today announced 2,088 new cases of COVID-19 in Illinois, including 74 additional deaths.
