Princeton's street concert originally scheduled for July 17, featuring Tons O' Fun, has been canceled.
According to a press release issued by Princeton Chamber of Commerce, the decision comes after careful consideration for public health and safety and is in compliance with Gov. J.B. Pritzker's five phase plan to safely reopen the state.
The street concert committee will continue to evaluate future street concert dates.
"It is our hope that future concerts will occur as scheduled," stated Autumn Kirk, Princeton's tourism and chamber director.
