In the last 24 hours, Bureau, Putnam, Marshall County Health Department has reported 19 new cases of COVID.
Of these cases, 18 are from Bureau County and are people recovering at home including one female child, one male teenager, one male in his 20s, two females in their 30s, one male in his 30s, two females in their 40s, three males in their 40s, two females in their 50s, one male in his 50s, one female in her 60s, one male in his 60s and two females in their 90s.
One new case is from Marshall County, a male in his 20s, recovering at home.
According to the health department, there have now been 142 confirmed cases in the three-county region. Bureau County has had 116 confirmed cases. Putnam County has had eight confirmed cases. Marshall County has had 18 confirmed cases.
There have been two COVID-related deaths reported in Bureau County since the outbreak.
ZIP code areas with six or more cases in Bureau County are: Princeton, 28 confirmed cases out of 1,401 tests; Spring Valley, 25 cases out of 930 tests; Buda, six cases out of 75 tests and DePue, 16 cases out of 112 tests.
In Putnam County: Granville, six cases out of 140 tests.
In Marshall County: Henry, six cases out of 324 tests.
In total, 3,805 Bureau County residents; 435 Putnam County residents; and 1,442 Marshall County residents have been tested for COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.
