PRINCETON — To raise money for the Bureau County Food Pantry, the St. Matthews Saintly Spaghetti Supper Committee is selling raffle tickets for a handmade quilt.

As the actual spaghetti supper is postponed for 2020 due to COVID-19, the planning committee is still raising funds for the food pantry.

Tickets for the quilt are $1 each or six tickets for $5. Tickets will be sold through Oct. 31, with the drawing on Nov. 1.

To purchase a ticket, contact St. Matthews Lutheran Church or contact one of the committee members. Also, raffle tickets are available at the Bureau County Food Pantry.

This is the sixth year St. Matthews has provided this fundraiser. Each year a different community ministry or outreach agency has been selected to receive the proceeds with past recipients being Buddy Bags, Freedom House, Princeton Ministerial Emergency Assistance Fund, Second Story and Young Life.

St. Matthews is located at 416 E. Dover Road in Princeton.
