Roundup: St. Bede girls golf finishes unbeaten in Three Rivers Conference

Ally Mendoza shot a 44 on Friday to lead the St. Bede girls golf team to a victory in a Three Rivers Conference triangular at Spring Creek Golf Course.

The Lady Bruins carded a 185 to beat Kewanee (190) and Newman (231) to finish undefeated in the conference.

Also scoring for St. Bede were Alyssa Heitz (45), Payge Pyszka (48) and Ava Manicki (48).


At Spring Valley

Adam Vigars carded a 37 on Thursday to earn medalist honors and lead Princeton to a victory in a Three Rivers Conference triangular at Spring Creek Golf Course.

The Tigers scored a 161 to beat St. Bede (170) and Kewanee (216).

Rounding out the scores for PHS were Jaden Eggers (38), Jamie Reinhardt (42) and Jarrett Carr (44).

Nathan Potthoff led the Bruins with a 40 followed by Brendon Pillion (42), Jake Delaney (44) and Owen Espel (44).


Princeton 3, United Township 2

The Tigresses earned a victory Thursday in Princeton.

Nora Eiken won 6-2, 7-5 at No. 2 singles.

In doubles, Olivia Alter and Emma Zelenik picked up a 5-7, 6-1, 10-6 at No. 1, while Abby Jensen and Anya Kauffman earned a 6-4, 6-1 victory at No. 2.
